What We Do In The Shadows Review

Silver, sunlight, mirrors. All the usual tropes are deployed. But used in a documentary sense, and with a keen script, it feels fresh.

But watching these fearsome creatures struggle to dress themselves without reflections and simply be refused access to nightclubs humanises them. They just have different problems to us!

This is a really quotable film, with the local werewolf pack are particularly entertaining in their efforts to be safe.

Juggling so many emotions takes some skill, but What We Do In The Shadows is at once funny, charming, gruesome and melancholy. You really should check this film out.
