System of a Down loving dogs. Crazy bunnies. Cats that just don’t care. All in an apartment block and living a life we’re not aware of when we’re at work. If only the story lived up the the trailers.
The Secret Life of Pets can’t move beyond a comparison I quickly made to Toy Story. It’s sometimes amusing but it’s a pale imitation.
The biggest plus is how the animals are portrayed; animal lovers will find a lot to nudge each other and say ‘that’s exactly right!’.
There was a better story here but we ended up with something derivative.
