A sensational central performance from Benedict Cumberbatch, surrounded by a quality cast led by Keira Knightley, left me in tears.
The Imitation Game may not always be factually correct, but it did a wonderful job of making me feel. I don’t know the facts when it comes to Turing and his struggles, but I’m well aware of his genius now.
Understood by few, Turing’s story left me amazed at not only his brilliance, but also the disgusting way in which he was treated. In simple terms he gave us the computer and saved millions of lives. Don’t put off seeing this film like I did. Everyone should be aware of Turing’s accomplishments.
