In the glowingly received original Bryan Mills carved a swathe of destruction through the Eastern European henchmen population. Unsurprisingly their relatives want revenge!
This film is not the train wreck I was led to believe, but it’s nowhere near as good. Taken 2 was never going to recapture lightning in a bottle. As sequels go the reason to wheel out the main character again at least makes sense.
Some may balk at his take no prisoners attitude, and yes you have to gloss over some nonsense, but if you get on board early you’ll be taken along for a decent ride.
