Winding down on a Sunday evening, I thought Runner Runner could be a half decent, straightforward thriller to chill out to.

I should have just played Pokemon as I’d originally planned!

This film is so lightweight, so obvious, so meh. Timberlake is far too old to be a college student, whilst Artherton does precisely nothing.

Affleck though. Putting aside the Bruce Wayne bias I thought he was fine. He can be intimidating when he wants. It’s just a shame he took the role in the first place.

Runner Runner isn’t worth your time. It’s all been done better elsewhere already.
