Paddington Review

Paddington

Did I need my hard stare or my emergency sandwiches to get through Paddingon? No! This film is just delightful.

From the old recording detailing the discovery of talking bears to the final confrontation, Paddington is a heartfelt and funny film that will appeal to all ages.

Whishsaw is perfectly cast. His voice conveys not just Paddington’s innocence and mischievousness, but also his sense of longing. Bonneville is great as Mr. Brown, one scene in particular raising plenty of laughs.

This is one film that shouldn’t be left waiting at the station. A lovely warm hug of a film.
