Good Will Hunting Review

Good Will Hunting

You hear about films. Films that are meant to be amazing. They get quoted at you. Films that illicit strong reactions when you tell people you haven’t seen them.

I don’t feel pressure to watch films deemed classics. I just happened to be curious about watching Good Will Hunting and had the time to do so.

Wow.

How the hell did Matt Damon and Ben Affleck write this film in their early twenties? Something so heartfelt and knowledgeable.

I’m trying to fault it. The story arc being really obvious is the only thing. But then I think of Robin William’s fantastic performance, or Affleck’s turn as the best friend. How it really seems to get to the core of living; taking the rough and the smooth.

This isn’t a long review (if you can even count it as that), since there isn’t much to say. You really should give this film a chance. I won’t question you if you don’t fancy it. But I will think you’ve missed out.
