They’re plastered all over my Facebook wall with nonsense quotes, but the minions are cute and amusing. With that in mind, their movie is exactly as you’d expect.
It starts off briskly as Kevin, Stuart and Bob leave their tribe in search for the most despicable boss around. But there isn’t enough story here to sustain a full length movie.
It’s almost as if they were never meant to be the sole focus of a story… Filled with gibberish (but some more English words) and plenty of slapstick, it’s basically a decent selection of set-pieces, so adjust your expectations accordingly.
