Land of the Dead Review

The original Living Dead trilogy is an all-time classic. Gore aside though, they’ve never been well made, with the cast in particular indicating the low budget.

With great actors such as Hopper and Leguizamo, Land of the Dead steps up a gear. This time Romero uses the apocalypse to show us the divide between the rich and poor. As you might guess, the powerful use their power to attain more and stay safe, rather than help their fellow man. Spoiler alert – I’m happy to report that they pay for it.

With the decisions they make plenty of these humans deserve to die, but ‘Land’ is easily one of the better zombie films out there. Good gore, good actors and clever zombies.
