This is the definition of a feel good movie. Do you want to feel good at the end? Do you want to see the hero of the story succeed? Do you want to laugh and curse at the situations Eddie finds himself in?
Then you’re in luck! It takes a very high level look at a true story and it’s clichéd to hell. But that’s fine when it’s done with this much warmth and admiration for the real man.
Egerton and Jackman make a great pairing whilst the caricatures around them elicit the correct responses.
It’s just a nice film!
