Much like the characters in the film, you’re either going to be ‘in’ or ‘out’. A lot of that will depend on how funny you think Johnson and Hart are.
Central Intelligence isn’t an amazing film but it is a perfectly fine evening in/out. I had a few laughs, backed up by a lot of sniggers. Fortunately the plot holes didn’t become apparent until it had finished so it must have kept me somewhat entertained.
Johnson is great (as usual), full of vim, whilst Hart’s shouting is hit and miss.
Don’t think about it too much and you’ll be fine.
