A Director’s second Batman film shows their true intentions. Returns, TDK, Batman & Robin. A successful first entry gains leeway you see.
Joel Schumacher’s second is undeniably a hot mess. My suggestion? Watch it the same way you would West’s ’66 version. Just roll with it and enjoy it for what it is.
Arnie is a comical piece of casting, but nothing makes much sense. It feels so cheap too!
But Clooney isn’t a bad Bruce, especially in scenes with Gough’s wonderful Alfred.
There’s ice skates and credit cards, but if we hadn’t had this we wouldn’t have Batman Begins. So thanks!
