A rom-com-zom? Taken on its own merits Warm Bodies is a decent enough watch. But I have an issues, and that is my own personal view on what zombies should be like. Bub and Big Daddy are as clever as I like my zombies, and these go far past that.
Hoult and Palmer’s Shakespearian tale draws you into their post-apocalyptic world, and they make a cute couple, but the decent supporting cast is under-utilised. The setup isn’t an obvious one, but the conclusion is. Kudos for the Zombi reference though. Warm Bodies will make a more enjoyable view for those who aren’t sticklers like me when it comes to what makes a zombie.
