Guy Ritchie has crafted a quite fantastic looking film with this movie based on the 60’s TV show. What he has failed to do is tell a compelling story.
It’s an enjoyable enough ride, with Cavill and Hammer’s bickering distracting us from the fact that not much happens.
The set design and costuming (love a bit of suit talk) are stunning to look at but scenes are skimmed over and at the end it all just seems very hollow.
Worth a watch just to see beautiful people do cool things, but it will ultimately be hard to remember.
