If you like the idea of mullets and power ballads merged with physics and time defying antics then this film will be so far up your street it’s coming back down the other side. If not you’re missing out.
The pure embodiment of the phrase “go big or go home”, the story zips along with the speed of a Lamborghini. With a wide-ranging cast* it’s an utterly bonkers and irreverent story that some will find hilarious and other baffling.
Thirty minutes of unabashed nonsense, and completely free; Kung Fury is a Kickstarter success and a tribute to the decade that fashion forgot. It’s horrendously dumb but very entertaining if you can buy into it.
There’s a fun video game too.
