I can’t remember the last time I jumped whilst watching a Disney film. Zootropolis won’t be remembered for that though.
Instead it will be remembered for an immensely strong central message and a refreshingly different take on anthropomorphic animals.
Perhaps I can best sum up my thoughts on it by saying that the only negative I came out with was that there seemed to be too many Rhinos.
Goodwin and Bateman fit their characters perfectly. The Shakira song is pretty catchy too.
Zootropolis is a really thoughtful and funny film. I’m so pleased I didn’t miss it in the cinema.
