Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse is an unexpectedly charming little film that I found myself increasingly enamoured by.
An addition to the ‘Zom-Com’ genre, it might take liberties with what I feel a zombie should be capable of, but it zips along with a pleasantness that gets under your skin.
There’s nothing surprising here; the boys fill their standard roles, whilst the girls are suitably attractive. It’s how they deal with the funny and inventive set pieces that elevates the film.
My not so inner boy giggled his way through this one. So did my wife! Definitely worth trying.
