100 Word Review – Mr. Peabody & Sherman

Mr. Peabody & Sherman

I wasn’t even aware that these characters existed before seeing a trailer for this film. As a cinematic release it passed me by unnoticed, and I eventually saw it on TV.

It turns out that even having seen it, Mr. Peabody & Sherman remains pretty unnoticeable.

There are some nice little jokes in here, with Patrick Warburton’s King Agamemnon the high point (he says Bro). It just doesn’t do much to stick in the mind. If ‘pleasant and harmless kid’s film’ is what was being aimed for, then that target was hit dead-on.

It’s hard to describe really. Fine I guess?
